A 1-Day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification covers a range of basic life saving skills and techniques and giving the learner the knowledge base to deal with emergency first aid situations.

Topics covered include, how to manage an incident, basic life support skills (CPR) resuscitation, choking, bleeding, burns, shock, consent, primary and scene survey, recovery position, AED, minor wounds and treating both a conscious and unconscious casualty.
This course is assessed through a multiple choice examination and practical assessments.
Once qualified the learners qualification will be valid for a period of 3 years. This is a fully regulated and nationally recognised qualification and not just an online CPD course.
Must be 14 yrs of age or over, and be able to complete some small practical assessments on the floor.
