A 3 - Day course which includes a 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, and designed for Door Supervisors who wish to renew their Door Supervisor Licence after the 1st October 2021.
Our First aid is provided FREE as part of this course, If you already have First Aid then we need to see your certificate which must have at least 12 months validation remaining, if this is the case then you would not have to attend day -1 for the First Aid, just the top up element.
The Top Up course is to demonstrate that your knowledge and competency is up to date
Mandatory units covered are: Principles of Terror Threat Awareness, Principles of Using Equipment for Door Supervisors and Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry.
Assessment of this course will be through a short workbook completed by the learner prior to attending, then sitting a few short multiple choice examinations and practical assessments throughout the course. Day 1 will be the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
Must already hold a Door Supervisor Licence and it is due to be renewed after the 1st October 2021.
There is also a requirement to complete some counter terrorism training before the top up course. Both the Awareness of Counter terrorism (Blue Certificate)and the Act Security(Orange Certificate) need completing online via the link below.
